Tree felling/removal
There are inevitably occasions where tree felling is the
only option. Crowded landscapes will sometimes benefit from the selective
removal of a tree, allowing other trees to grow and prosper. Additionally,
a change in site conditions or building alterations to a property can
also require trees or branches to be removed.
Where trees are dead, dying, diseased or dangerous (or have outgrown their
surroundings), tree removal is often the only
option. When felling a tree, however, we are keen to plant a new one in
its place, in order to maintain the environment’s delicate balance.
Crown reduction
a reduction of volume/density/height of trees Crown lifting
removal of lower branches where they are affecting gardens, pathways or
highways, for example.
Pruning
light reduction/maintenance of fruit trees and other delicate
trees and shrubs (in order to effect the best fruit production in fruit
trees)
Planting
We are happy to plant all trees and shrubs and we will
offer advice as to the best plants for the soil and conditions. Where
we have removed a tree, we always try to replace it by planting a new
one in a suitable position
Bracing
large branches and stems that form an important part of
a tree in terms of aesthetics, structure and balance may require a bracing
system to reduce the danger of their failure.
